Healing Hands of South Jersey
Healing Mother Earth one Person at a time.

The books on this page are ones that have moved me in some way.  Every book on my list has provided me with either insights or inspirations, joy or thought provocation.  These books are what I consider the best of the best for where my growth was at the time I read.  Occassionally there was a book that I picked up a few times ans started and just couldn't get into it.  The student wasn't ready.  A year or two done the road, the book is just what I needed. My hope is that one or more of these books will touch you in some way as they did me.   Feel free to email me if you have read a book that you think I might enjoy.

As you will notice I have given links to Amazon for all of these books that I have loved.  I recommend Amazon because they not only give a good discount and free shipping for orders over $25 but to be honest, I also get a a referral fee for each book sold if you use one of my links.  It helps me pay for my website and more books to read and recommend.

Books are alphabetical by Author

 Richard Bach
Jonathon Livingston Seagull

This is one of my favorite books of all time, especially to listen to on Audio.  This is about a seagull that is in a constant search for a higher purpose, a higher meaning to life.  A spiritual classic.

One

Under the spell of quantum physics, Bach and his wife Leslie are catapulted into an alternate world in which they exist simultaneously in many different incarnations.  Pretty interesting reading.

Illusions

Richard Bach takes to the air to discover the ageless truths that give our souls wings: that people don't need airplanes to soar...that even the darkest clouds have meaning once we lift ourselves above them... and that messiahs can be found in the unlikeliest places--like hay fields, one-traffic-light midwestern towns, and most of all, deep within ourselves. Re-read recently.

 Leo Buscaglia

Love: What Life Is All About

This is a great literary work on Love.  Many passages in this book touch my heart and my soul.  Leo was truly a man of great depth and great love.

Paulo Coelho - All of Paulo's books are great.  I've read just about everyone he's written and have never been disappointed. Expect for "The Alchemist", I have just listed his books.  Again, all of his works challenge the soul.  Once you have read one of his books, you will want to read them all.  Paulo is a very prolific writer.  As for myself, as soon as a new book by him comes out, it's on my shelf.

The Alchemist

This is another of my most favorite books.  I listen to this book on CD once or twice a year to help bring me back to why I'm here.  This book is about finding your personal legend.

Wayne Dyer - Wayne has been an inspiration to me over the years.  I would highly recommend any of his books.  They are all spiritual Gems.

There is a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem

This is one of my favorite Wayne Dyer books.  It is chock full of information and inspiration.  It came to me at a time in my life when I really needed something to life me up and carry me forward.

Joseph F. Girzone - Joseph's books are relatively short but pack full of meaning.  Every single one of his books brought tears to my eyes because of the wisdom and the love expressed.  The Joshua series is about 'what if Jesus were living today?'  Not your stereo-typical way of thinking of Jesus.  I highly recommend them all.
